Rod Stevenson and Don McEnhill will present "Products for Solving Erosion and Sediment Problems” and “Complying with Construction Stormwater Permits”
Rod Stevenson is a sediment/erosion control trained specialist with 35 years in construction sales and 20 years involved in sediment/erosion control products. He will present products to solve erosion/sediment problems, including those with LEED points, for stabilizing hillsides, turf re-enforcement mats for replacing rip rap, rock-lined ditches and concrete swales.
Don McEnhill is Executive Director for Russian Riverkeepers, whose mission is to advocate, educate the community and uphold our environmental laws for protecting and restoring the Russian River. His goal is to assist the industry in complying with water quality laws and regulations and explain why they are important to protect our waterways. Don will update us on the new General Construction Permit requirements and show pictures of common problems that resulted in penalties and how you might avoid the same problems.
