Cremation, Traditional Funeral Services and Personalized Funeral Services are all available from Herron Funeral Home.
Cremation Services
Cremation is a process whereby the the human body is placed in a chamber called a retort and the body is reduced by intense heat to its skeletal fragments called cremains or cremated remains. Many options are available to those who choose Cremation Services.
Cremation With Traditional Funeral ~ With this arrangement visitation is held for one or two days, with the deceased viewed in a casket, and concludes with a traditional funeral service, followed by the cremation.
Cremation With Viewing And Funeral On Same Day ~ This includes visitation and a traditional funeral on the same day, with the deceased viewed in a casket. Cremation takes place after the funeral service.
Cremation With Memorial Service ~ In this arrangement the cremation takes place prior to the memorial service.
The Cremated Remains ~ The cremated remains of the deceased can be givin to the family for them to choose to keep in an urn in their home, or bury them or scatter them over a special place.
Funeral Services
At Herron Funeral Home we offer many choices for conducting traditional Funeral Services. A Traditional Funeral Service involves placing the deceased in a casket and having a burial in a cemetery or entombment in a mausoleum.
The Visitation ~ This can be one or two days or just prior to the funeral service.
The Funeral Service ~ The funeral service can be held at the funeral home, in your home, church,
synagogue, or other place of your choice.
Graveside Service ~ Some families choose to have a graveside service. Tent or Chapel Services may be available at the cemetery.
Forwarding Of Remains To Another Funeral Home ~ By contacting Herron Funeral Home, all arrangements can be made to transport the deceased to an out-of-town funeral home of your choice.
Receiving Remains From Another Funeral Home ~ By contacting Herron Funeral Home all arrangements can be made for bringing your loved one to our facility.
