You are cordially invited to a special gathering of you who have experienced a loss and would like to share a few of your thoughts, experiences, or simply listen.

We encourage you to take this important step in the healing process.  Help us make this group a meaningful and caring experience. Bring a friend or other family member if you like.

I would like to share with you a Poem that was written by one of our members of Commonbond. This gentleman lost his wife of 57 years and naturally this event has significantly impacted his life.

Common Bond

My journey began with a scared Hope,
To meet others that will understand.
People with gaping holes in their heart,
Praying that they will have the same plan.

The words I hear with warm arms around me,
Penetrates the emptiness that is within.
My lonely feelings begin to fade,
This loving soul knew how to begin.

Bring your hopes to find this understanding,
This group that has lost loved ones in their life.
Be it Parents, Babies, Children young and old,
Loving ones you held, your husband or your wife.

Embrace the togetherness this group has,
It gives us strength that we won’t fall.
Strangers a short time ago, now in our minds and hearts,
God Bless our Common Bond for all.
