We supply and install the finest quality artificial plants for schemes in the UK and in Europe.  Plants can be ordered through our mail order shop (see separate page for Artificial Plants and also for Containers and Planters) or alternatively we can mail you our catalogue showing the complete range. 

Most of the specimen trees we use have ‘natural’ wooden trunks, and highly realistic foliage.  We can supply specimens from 0.5 metres to 8.0 metres tall to create the effect you wish to achieve.

Artificial trees are ideal for areas where the temperature or light levels will not support live planting, or where the budget will not allow for the maintenance of live specimens.

Trunks and Stems:  Artificial trees are constructed on natural wood stems/trunks, normally from sustainable plantations.  Our artificial palm trunks are built on metal tubes covered with rings of aloa bark to create a realistic effect.  These trunks can be rolled in special machines to achieve slight or dramatic curves.

Flame Retardancy:  Many of the plants and trees we now supply have inherently flame retarded foliage, but there are still good foliage specimens available which are not inherently flame retarded. These plants and trees can be sprayed with flame retardant, but they do need to be sprayed on an annual basis.  Inherently flame retarded foliage does not need spraying, but it does need shaping and cleaning at least every year to maintain a good appearance.

Maintenance:  Artificial plants, trees and planting schemes do need regular maintenance to ensure they remain in good condition. We specialise in cleaning and reshaping foliage, and if necessary flame retard any foliage which is not inherently flame retarded.  

Fixing: Many smaller trees and plants are often installed into containers and fixed with glue with Leca granual top dressing.  Larger trees can either be positioned into containers, or inserted onto metal fixing plates attached to the floor. 

Transport and Installation: When specifying large artificial trees, please ensure that it is possible to get them into the building. Ensure the doorways are wide enough to accommodate the crown, or that the trees can be positioned in the building easily.  To hire a crane and open up a glazed atrium roof, if there is no other way to install the tree into the building, can be a very expensive operation.
