New for 2005, Island Sports has launched an initiative aimed at helping club's, schools, colleges and universities source top quality sports equipment and kit and very competitive prices.

The essence of the idea is that we create a virtual on-line shop, where students and parents can buy sports kit and equipment, which is specific to their club, school or college on-line, and at discounted prices.

At last, a genuine offer that benefits everybody.

How does it work? Firstly, you surf in to our website (www.island-sports.co.uk) and click on the 'schools & colleges' button. A menu comes down and you select your club, school, college or university from the list. Then, you enter a password and user name which are specific to your organisation and which the school / club provide to the students and parents. On this part of the site we offer products that are specific to that establishment – they may be embroidered with specific motifs or they may be custom-designed garments to meet specific needs. You can order products on-line, which are either dispatched overnight or delivered by us to the school/college for collection by parents/pupils.

How does it help parents and pupils?

We provide the school / club with a unique id code. Whenever students and parents buy products from us they enter the id code and immediately they receive a 10 per cent discount on all Island own-branded products. This is not just in their specific section, but also for any Island product on our website from the cheapest rugby kicking tee to our top range handmade cricket bats.

How does the school or college benefit?

At the same time, when anybody enters the id code another 10 percent discount (making it a 20 per cent total discount) is added to an account administered by Island on the school / club's behalf. Designated staff representatives can check the balance whenever they want and use these resources to 'buy' equipment and kit from Island for the school or club.
