Our CEFC soccer family and the community of Corona have suffered a great loss in the passing of Kirk Wilson (51). Kirk was the father of one of our CEFC G91-Navy players; Andrea (Drea) Wilson. Kirk Wilson’s death occurred on Friday afternoon 12/26/08, from an apparent heart attack. He is survived by his wife of 20-years Deborah and his six children; Kayla (11), Drea (16), Breanne (17), Ashley (21), Chad (27) and Lisa (30).
Kirk supported his children in everything they did, from BMX to Dance and Softball to Soccer. He has dedicated his time, effort and sponsorships to the youth of Corona throughout his 21-years as a resident of the community. His sudden and tragic death has his family not only in shock but also in a dire situation. Kirk; being in the real estate business has fallen on some rough times in 2008, and now with his passing, things will become even tougher for his family.
There has been an account set up for the Wilson Family at Washington Mutual Bank for those of you that would like to help the family through these very difficult times. Any contributions would be greatly appreciated, as the family would like nothing more than to give their beloved Kirk (Dad) a proper send off and for the family to remain together here in the City that they have all come to love so much. Please make all contributions to Deborah Wilson at any Wa/Mu branch to the account # of 4010686529. Or send your contribution to 1821 Butternut St. Corona, CA. 92882.
There will be a viewing at 10:00am and a service/remembrance at 11:00am on Saturday January 3rd, 2008 at The Living Truth Christian Church, on the (S/W) corner of Ontario and Lincoln in the City of Corona, CA. If you wish to know or do more; you can contact Kenny Dougher at 714.713.3961 or at kdougher@akconstructors.com
Thank you Kirk, for all the laughs, the support and for being such a wonderful husband, father and friend. You will be missed and remembered by us all.
